ABSTRACT
This document proposes the structure and governance process for BeerGang DAO, a decentralized autonomous organization governed by holders of BeerGang NFTs and $BOOZE, the native token of the BeerGang ecosystem. The DAO will serve as the primary decision-making body for the BeerGang community, fostering decentralized governance.
MOTIVATION
BeerGang DAO aims to revolutionize the Beer-inspired Characters IP community by leveraging blockchain technology and decentralized governance. By empowering BeerGang NFT and $BOOZE token holders, we seek to create a community-driven ecosystem that promotes innovation, quality, and accessibility.
The BeerGang DAO will enable community members to:
- Submit and vote on proposals affecting the ecosystem
- Allocate resources for development, marketing, and community initiatives
- Shape the future of decentralized brewing and distribution
RATIONALE
BeerGang DAO will serve as the cornerstone of our decentralized BeerGang IP ecosystem, aligning the interests of BeerGang holders. By implementing a transparent and inclusive governance model, we aim to create a global community of BeerGang.
The core values of BeerGang DAO are:
- Community: Fostering a global network of BeerGang.
- Transparency: Ensuring open and honest communication in all DAO operations.
- Sustainability: Build organic IP value by supporting BeerGang IP product and content.
BeerGang DAO represents version 2 (v2) of the BeerGang project, marking a significant evolution from its predecessor. This transition signifies a shift towards a more decentralized and community-driven model from a company-driven model. It is agreed upon that:
- BeerGang DAO (v2) is the official continuation/reboot of the BeerGang project (v1).
- All operations, assets, and responsibilities of v1 will be considered concluded upon the completion of the migration process to v2.
- Any initiatives, projects, or plans that were part of v1 but not explicitly included in the v2 structure will be considered terminated.
- Should the community wish to reintroduce or continue any aspect of v1 within the new DAO structure, a separate BGIP must be submitted and approved through the standard governance process for clarity and transparency.
This agreement ensures a clean transition to the new DAO structure while providing a mechanism for preserving valuable elements from the original project if the community deems them necessary.
