BGIP-5: $BOOZE Marketing and Community Allocations

Abstract

This proposal request is threefold: (1) Allocate sufficient budget for $BOOZE marketing and community management (2) allocate $BOOZE token for multiple marketing campaigns pre and post Token Generation Event and (3) allocate $BOOZE token incentives for $BOOZE token stakers

Motivation

Successful meme tokens thrive on a strong community and compelling marketing.

(1) Hiring managers for $BOOZE Discord and Twitter marketing

  • A dedicated marketing manager is essential to engage newcomers, keep existing members informed, and communicate the vision of Beergang and Booze effectively.

(2) Allocating $BOOZE airdrop budget for TGE marketing campaigns

  • Token launches are pivotal moments where first impressions matter most and can’t be redone.
  • Allocating a sufficient token budget is crucial to drive traffic and maximize visibility during the token launch.

(3) Allocating $BOOZE incentives for $BOOZE stakers through KAIA portal

  • Staking incentives will reward long-term supporters of $BOOZE, strengthening the core fanbase that serves as the foundation for the community’s growth.

Rationale

This proposal aligns with BeerGang DAO’s core mission of strengthening its community and expanding its reach. By implementing this plan, we aim to enhance communication between the DAO’s members and contributors while fostering a more engaged ecosystem.

Additionally, $BOOZE has the potential to become the leading cultural token within KAIA, building on the foundation established by our successful NFT collection. Expanding BeerGang IP through $BOOZE’s strategic positioning will reinforce its status as the #1 memecoin on KAIA and further solidify our community-driven brand.

Specifications

(1) Hiring marketing managers for $BOOZE Discord and Twitter

  • Total Budget: $5,750 worth of $BOOZE tokens per month for 1 year. Budget renewal will be reviewed after 1 year.
  • Role 1: Marketing Manager
    • R&R includes management of BeerGang DAO’s community and marketing strategy, including drafting and posting major announcements, communicating $BOOZE’s vision and progress with the community and expanding $BOOZE’s reach.
  • Role 2: Twitter/Telegram Manager for $BOOZE
    • R&R includes management of $BOOZE Twitter and Telegram, including daily posting of relevant memes, important announcements and devising strategies to maximize reach of the Beergang and $BOOZE IP
  • Role 3: Partnership Moderation
    • R&R includes crafting and executing impactful marketing strategies for the ecosystem, with a focus on fostering strategic partnerships and developing comprehensive, forward-thinking plans.

(2) Allocating $BOOZE airdrop budget for TGE marketing campaigns

  • Total Budget: upto 3% of total $BOOZE tokens
  • Campaign 1: Co-marketing with renowned web3 projects (1%)
    • The first co-marketing partners Immortal Rising and Nine Chronicles boast a combined community over 1,000,000 dedicated fans over Discord and Twitter
    • Future co-marketing with global communities including Superwalk, KOLs and other close partners can be executed.
    • We expect cross-marketing airdrop missions to bring thousands of users at minimum to follow and join $BOOZE community, significantly boosting the $BOOZE community size
    • To ensure the airdrop campaign aligns with the TGE timeline, 1% of $BOOZE tokens allocated for the airdrop will initially be provided by Planetarium and Goodgang Labs. These tokens will be reimbursed from the DAO treasury at a later stage.
  • Campaign 2: Co-marketing with KOLs (1%)
    • Web3 KOLs play a pivotal role in amplifying the fanbase of meme tokens
    • Allocate 0.1% to each KOL, which the KOL will in exchange:
      • Post information about $BOOZE on Twitter and/or Telegram at least twice before and after $BOOZE TGE
      • React and reply to major tweets of $BOOZE twitter
      • Allocate minimum of 0.05% of given token to redistribute to their fan base
    • Conduct KOL marketing with up to 10 KOLs maximum (0.1% per KOL, total 1%)
  • Additional co-marketing campaigns may be added if necessary, utilising the remaining 1% of TGE marketing budget.

(3) Allocating $BOOZE incentives for $BOOZE stakers using KAIA portal

  • Total Budget: 2% of total $BOOZE tokens
    • KAIA portal, a staking portal for main KAIA ecosystem projects, will support the staking of $BOOZE
    • For long term stakers of $BOOZE tokens, additional $BOOZE staking incentives will be granted
    • A total of 2% $BOOZE tokens will be set aside for this initiative

  4. Kick off co-marketing campaign with Nine Chronicles and Immortal Rising 2 - Ongoing
  5. Find and negotiate KOLs for BOOZE token launch
  6. Execute KOL campaign for $BOOZE TGE
  7. Launch $BOOZE staking program on KAIA portal

Timeline

  • Pre TGE (Before December 19th)
    • Co-marketing with Nine Chronicles / Immortal Rising 2 kick off
    • KOL marketing campaign kick off
  • TGE (December 19th)
    • Airdrop distribution for co-marketing is distributed

    • KOL marketing campaign continues
    • $BOOZE staking on KAIA portal commences

Overall Cost

  • Upto 5% $BOOZE tokens from DAO treasury will be used for TGE marketing and staking.
  • $5,750 of $BOOZE tokens from DAO treasury will be used per month for marketing managers.
